How to use the new Windows Copilot AI with ClickHome

Have you tried out Microsoft's Copilot feature in Windows 11 yet? This handy AI assistant can help streamline tasks and boost productivity right from your desktop. With the latest Windows update, Copilot is now available to all users - and better yet, it works with ClickHome!

Copilot acts like an AI copilot for your PC, providing suggestions and shortcuts as you work. For example, when writing emails or adding notes in ClickHome, Copilot can autocomplete sentences or even generate whole paragraphs based on the context.

The best part is that Copilot learns your preferences and writing style over time. The more you use it, the more tailored and helpful its suggestions become.

Before you begin, you probably want to make sure you’re running the latest version of Windows 11: Copilot is part of the September 2023 Windows update.

Open Settings and then pick Windows Update.

To launch Copilot, which shows up in a panel on the right of your screen, click the Copilot button on the taskbar, or press Win + C on the keyboard.

To make it work with ClickHome there is currently one very important setting you need to toggle and you can find it by clicking on the three dots at the top of the panel and choosing Settings. It’s Let Copilot in Windows use Microsoft Edge content, and it essentially lets Copilot “see” what you’re looking at in Edge.

Once this is toggled you can ask Copilot to interact with ClickHome in your Edge browser!

While Copilot is still in preview mode and can give inaccurate results, please see some interesting prompts for you to try:

From the notes page:
"Please summarise the notes on this page, exclude all emails"
"based on all email communication on this page, is the customer happy?"

From Requistions:
"What is the most expensive approved item on the page?"
